The bespoke piece is designed as a triptych, illustrating the British woodland through three distinct moments—daytime, evening, and night—each anchored by the presence of a Kingfisher, portrayed through different techniques to reflect the time of day. This imaginative depiction draws on centuries of British tradition while pushing the boundaries of modern automotive craftsmanship.

Swan Lake – A Daylight Scene in Motion

In the Swan Lake panel, artisans from the Exterior Surface Centre devoted over 100 hours to painting a serene lake, featuring two graceful swans, floating on reflective waters with a Kingfisher in flight above. Freehand brushwork and airbrushing techniques were used on aluminium to replicate reeds in rich Iced Orange Metallic and St Tropez hues. The addition of a crystal clear coat evokes the glimmer of morning dew, elevating the realism of this aquatic habitat.

Enchanted Woodland – Evening Comes Alive

As dusk sets in, the Interior Trim Centre showcases over 400 hours of painstaking leather artistry. Painted daisy-like flowers bloom across Scivaro Grey leather, while 3D embroidered plants add tactile depth. Wildlife is brought to life through innovative methods: a tufted squirrel’s tail appears voluminous and soft, while a graceful hare, hand-painted onto leather, brings movement and character to this twilight tableau.

Stealth After Dark – Nightfall in the Forest

The final panel, Stealth After Dark, plunges into the mysteries of the nocturnal woodland. More than 500 hours of craftsmanship produced intricate marquetry work using tessellated wood veneers. A fox with a painted reddish coat, the first of its kind in Rolls-Royce's history, is captured in motion. Artisans ensured the natural wood grain remained visible beneath layers of carefully applied color, marrying traditional woodworking with contemporary technique.

According to Boris Weletzky, Regional Director of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, the exhibition is a tribute to the brand’s dedication to creativity, heritage, and perfection.
