New Jeep® Compass Makes Its Debut at 2025 Tannistest as Orders Open for Altitude Trim
Jeep® has officially unveiled the all-new Compass at the 2025 Tannistest, an exclusive event in northern Denmark that gathers contenders for the coveted title of European Car of the Year 2026. From September 20 to 25, automotive journalists from 23 countries came together to test the year’s most exciting new models across diverse driving conditions — from urban streets and highways to high-speed trials at Sindal Airport.
In this highly selective setting, the third-generation Jeep Compass made its mark, showcasing bold design updates, innovative technologies, and versatile performance. The new model reflects Jeep’s growing ambitions in Europe, offering something for everyone — from young drivers and families to professionals and outdoor adventurers.
A New Chapter for Jeep in Europe
Fabio Catone, Head of Jeep Brand in Enlarged Europe, emphasized the importance of the debut:
“The New Compass embodies Jeep’s values of capability, innovation, and sustainability, while offering a versatile and forward-looking SUV designed around our customers’ evolving needs. Following the launch of the First Edition in May, orders for the Compass Altitude trim will now open.”
The Compass has always been one of Jeep’s most successful models in Europe, but this new generation pushes the boundaries further. Built on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, the SUV offers improved interior space, greater versatility, and enhanced aerodynamics. Safety remains central to the design, with next-generation ADAS technologies and Level 2 autonomous driving included as standard across the entire lineup.
Electrified Powertrains for Every Lifestyle
The new Jeep Compass is available with two electrified options, designed to meet different customer needs:
- e-Hybrid (145 hp, 48V system): Smooth, efficient, and capable of completing over half of urban journeys in full-electric mode without external charging.
- BEV Standard Range (213 hp, 345 Nm): Fully electric with up to 500 km WLTP range, regenerative braking, and dynamic driving performance.
These options reflect Jeep’s commitment to offering both flexibility and sustainability in the evolving mobility landscape.
Smarter, More Connected
Technology plays a big role in the new Compass. All versions include Connected Services, designed to improve convenience, safety, and peace of mind.
- Connect ONE: Standard for 10 years, covering assistance, security, charging management, and preconditioning.
- Connect PLUS: Free for 12 months (First Edition) or 6 months (other trims), offering connected navigation, theft assistance, voice control, and remote features.
The new Jeep 2.0 mobile app gives owners complete control at their fingertips, from checking vehicle status to finding charging stations. Another standout feature is the Digital Key, a virtual car key stored on the driver’s smartphone — eliminating the need for a physical key and even allowing sharing via text message.
The Altitude Trim: Comfort Meets Capability
Jeep has also announced that orders are now open for the Compass Altitude trim, available in both e-Hybrid and BEV variants.
Highlights include:
- e-Hybrid Altitude: 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, cloth seating with lumbar support, wireless smartphone integration, dual-zone climate control, and Selec-Terrain modes (Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud). Safety features include adaptive cruise control, lane position assist, Level 2 autonomous driving, and front/rear parking sensors. Inside, drivers get a 10.25” TFT digital cluster paired with a massive 16” infotainment display.
- BEV Altitude: Distinguishes itself with 19-inch diamond-cut alloys and a multilink rear suspension for extra refinement and handling.
Deliveries are expected to begin in Q1 2026, making the Compass one of Jeep’s most important launches for the European market.
Conclusion
The 2025 Jeep Compass is more than just a redesign — it’s a statement of intent from Jeep in Europe. With electrified powertrains, cutting-edge safety, and smart connectivity, it strikes a balance between everyday practicality and Jeep’s adventurous DNA. And with the launch of the Altitude trim, customers now have a stylish, well-equipped option that makes the Compass even more attractive.
As orders open, Jeep is ready to redefine the SUV landscape, proving once again that the Compass remains a key player in the brand’s global lineup.
