OMG! GSE World Premieres at IAA Mobility 2025: Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo & New Opel Mokka GSE
Rüsselsheim/Munich – September 2025
Opel has turned up the heat at this year’s IAA Mobility 2025 with a showcase that blends futuristic design, cutting-edge technology, and pure electric performance. Under the spotlight are two stunning world premieres – the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo and the new Opel Mokka GSE. Joining them on stage is the powerful Opel Grandland Electric AWD, the brand’s first all-wheel-drive electric SUV.
The event marks a significant step for Opel as it brings together innovation, performance, and emotional appeal in the era of electrification.
Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo – A Concept from Virtual to Reality
Opel’s most talked-about debut at Munich is the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, a high-performance all-electric concept that bridges the digital and real worlds.
Built for speed and designed with razor-sharp aerodynamics, this show car delivers breathtaking numbers:
- 588 kW (800 hp) of power
- 800 Nm of torque
- 0–100 km/h in just 2.0 seconds
- Top speed: 320 km/h
And here’s the twist – fans won’t just admire it at the auto show. The Corsa GSE Vision GT will also be available to drive in Gran Turismo 7 starting this autumn, bringing racing enthusiasts worldwide into the experience.
The design language follows Opel’s iconic Compass motif, with bold aero features, an active diffuser, and racing-inspired cockpit stripped down to the essentials. Inside, a slim racing wheel gives drivers a direct view of a futuristic head-up display, creating a pure motorsport vibe.
Opel Mokka GSE – Motorsport Energy for the Streets
If the Corsa Vision GT is about fantasy meeting reality, the new Opel Mokka GSE is about turning motorsport spirit into a daily driving experience.
Derived from the Mokka GSE Rally car that debuted earlier this year, the production-ready version packs the same electric punch:
- 207 kW (280 hp)
- 345 Nm of torque
- 0–100 km/h in 5.9 seconds
- Top speed: 200 km/h
This makes it Opel’s fastest all-electric production car yet.
With a limited-slip differential, rally-inspired suspension, and sporty steering dynamics, the Mokka GSE promises goosebumps with every drive. The motorsport DNA shines through not just in performance, but in details like yellow brake calipers, aero styling, and a bold stance.
Opel Grandland Electric AWD – Power Meets Practicality
Alongside the GSE debuts, Opel also pulled the covers off its Grandland Electric AWD, the brand’s first all-electric SUV with all-wheel drive.
Performance is no afterthought here:
- 239 kW (325 hp) output
- 509 Nm torque
- 0–100 km/h in 6.1 seconds
- Up to 501 km range (WLTP provisional)
With four driving modes (Normal, Eco, Sport, and 4WD), the Grandland Electric AWD offers versatility for every condition – from urban commutes to slippery mountain roads. Paired with Frequency Selective Damping for ride comfort and handling balance, it represents the premium side of Opel’s electric future.
A Defining Moment for Opel
With its world premieres at IAA Mobility 2025, Opel is sending a clear message: electric mobility doesn’t just mean efficiency – it means thrill, performance, and passion.
From the visionary Corsa GSE Vision GT concept to the production-ready Mokka GSE and Grandland Electric AWD, the brand is embracing the next era of driving with confidence and flair.
As Opel CEO Florian Huettl put it: “Visitors will be amazed at how we’ve brought emotions, power, and future-proof technology together. This is Opel’s vision of pure electric passion.”
???? Whether you’re into performance, design, or sustainable mobility, Opel’s showcase at IAA Mobility 2025 proves that the future of driving is here – and it’s electrifying.
