Hyundai Motor Company celebrates its design leadership with a prestigious 2024 Red Dot Award win for the all-new Santa Fe. This recognition in the Product Design: Cars and Motorcycles category places the Santa Fe among the world's top designed vehicles.

"Open for More" Design Concept
The award-winning fifth-generation Santa Fe embodies the "Open for More" design concept. This translates to a class-leading terrace-like living space in the rear, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. An extended wheelbase and enlarged tailgate opening create this spacious feel, while also offering comfortable third-row seating.
Bold and Modern Exterior Design
The Santa Fe boasts a boxy shape and a distinctive long-wheelbase silhouette. The front features a grand presence with a high hood, H-shaped headlamps, and bold fenders. These H-shaped elements are a reinterpretation of Hyundai's signature emblem. Further design highlights include a bold roofline, powerful fenders, and 21-inch wheels. The rear is balanced with H-shaped taillights.
Spacious and Sustainable Interior
The interior offers a generous living space, especially when the tailgate is open, creating a true terrace-like feel. Foldable second- and third-row seats provide class-leading versatility. The design emphasizes horizontal and vertical lines with an H-motif. High-tech features include a Panoramic Curved Display and dual wireless charging. Hyundai incorporates sustainable materials like recycled plastic and eco-friendly leatherette. The color palette is inspired by natural light, fostering a sense of adventure and vibrancy.
Hyundai Wins Double Red Dot Award
Hyundai's design excellence extends beyond the Santa Fe. The company also secured a Red Dot Award in the Product Design: Outdoor and Camping Equipment category for its innovative Multi-Lantern. This versatile product boasts dual functionality – a portable flashlight for outdoor activities and a warm color mood light when used with the diffuser.
The Multi-Lantern exemplifies Hyundai's focus on creating user-friendly products with lasting value. The design incorporates the "Horongbul," a traditional Korean light, for a sense of stability and warmth. With an intuitive interface, USB-C charging, and wireless charging, the Multi-Lantern prioritizes convenience and usability. Its durability is ensured with an IP65 dustproof and waterproof certification.
