CEO of FIAT and Global Chief Marketing Officer of Stellantis, Olivier Francois, expressed the rarity of such a collaboration, stating, “It is rare for an automaker to combine efforts with the most iconic Italian brands of three different sectors, fashion design, furniture design, and luxury, to create something truly unique that combines art with an earth-friendly message." The decision to make these specially designed vehicles available through auction adds an extra layer of uniqueness to the initiative, aligning with FIAT's commitment to a sustainable mission.
This event is not only a celebration of artistic collaboration but also a significant step as FIAT gears up to launch the all-electric Fiat 500e in North America. Positioned as Stellantis' first electric vehicle offering in the region, the Fiat 500e stands out by democratizing electric mobility and redefining the buying experience for electric cars. This initiative aligns with the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, aiming for a 50% passenger car and light-duty truck battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales mix in the United States and 100% passenger car BEV sales mix in Europe by 2030. Stellantis is on a trajectory to become a carbon net-zero corporation by 2038, addressing all scopes, with a single-digit percentage compensation for remaining emissions.
