The Tesla Cybertruck has been a groundbreaking addition to the automotive world, showcasing Elon Musk's vision for an electric pickup truck with a unique design inspired by Blade Runner and the Lotus Esprit from James Bond's The Spy Who Loved Me. Unveiled at the Tesla Design Studio in Los Angeles in November 2019, the Cybertruck made a bold statement with its exoskeleton design and graffiti-themed logo. In terms of performance the Cybertruck is beast on the road. Tesla employs platform approach to powertrain components, offering three configurations: tri motor AWD, dual-motor AWD, and single motor RWD. The top of the line tri-motor configuration, aptly named "Cyberbeast," boasts an impressive 845 hp (630 kW), while the dual-motor AWD version reaches a total power output of 600 hp (450 kW). Even the single-motor RWD version, set for production in 2025, promises a formidable driving experience with its 315 hp (235 kW). The Cybertruck's electric prowess doesn't stop there. With a 816 V nominal, 150 Ah structural battery pack and a maximum capacity of 123 kWh, it can charge at a remarkable rate of 350 kW at Tesla Supercharger v4 stations. This structural battery pack not only powers the vehicle but also contributes to its overall strength and durability.
